Special Christmas wishes from EcoChic

As the year draws to a close and the magic of Christmas is almost here, we would like to wrap up with a little of our news and celebrations. We know with the economic climate it has been a challenging year for many, but we certainly feel 2009 has set us on path with firm foundations and we have grown to support many more ethical businesses and suppliers. Here is a round up of our news from 2009.

EcoChic Collection highlights 2009

The highlight of our work at EcoChic is bringing you products whose creation makes the most amazing positive change to families and communities all over the world. One of our growing number of suppliers is the The Heartfelt Project which employs ten women, where the proceeds from each decorative heart go directly to the South Africa ladies as well as to help fight TB, HIV & AIDS and other socio-economic problems in the community by donating a portion of each sale to a local charity.

We asked the Heartfelt Project in South Africa to design an EcoChic Heart and we were thrilled with the final piece.

EcoChic Magazine grows and grows…

Alongside this our EcoChic Magazine is gaining momentum, we are supporting many more ethical businesses, charities and individuals to celebrate their inspiring stories and we have some very exciting news for 2010 that we will bring to you in the New Year.

EcoChic Collection New look Website, 2010 & beyond

The EcoChic Collection team are delighted to celebrate the end of the year with our New Look Website, full of fresh beginnings to go into 2010.

All in all 2009 has been an exciting time for us at EcoChic. A time for growth, inspiration and a commitment to our values. That of telling the wonderful life changing stories behind each and every one of our unique products. As we move into 2010 we feel as though we are leaving our business childhood behind to launch full fledged, with a brand new website, an international arm to our magazine (more coming soon for our exciting plans in the Netherlands).

2010 will see our drive and passion to make the world a better and fairer place come to fruition, by giving our readers ethical lifestyle choices, news and information as well as our simply gorgeous and forever growing EcoChic Collection.

We will take you along our new journey for 2010 as we we unfurl our ethical wings and soar.
